Exclusivity is something we all stride towards when owning something. Especially when you are spending a lot of money on something, you want that something to be special.
Specially when it comes to cars. if you’re spending upwards of $100.000 on one you might as well make it special. That’s where special request colours come in.
The special request colour we are talking about is Nardo Grey; a colour commonly found on sporty Audi’s. But this time its on a BMW and not just any BMW, its on a BMW that has been magically touched by the people of Alpina.
This Alpina B3s Biturbo Touring Allrad (Try saying that 10 times really quick) is really a special one. Specced by Alpina Belgium by Jean-Michel Martin it’s finished in this lovely ‘BMW Individual Nardo grey’ paintjob which for being ‘grey’ and grey being a synonym for ‘dull’ this colour is quite lively. It really does stand out.
And if the colour wasn’t good enough, when you open the door you are welcomed by a lovely full leather interior finished in ‘BMW Individual Cohiba Brown’ and alcantara trim.
And you also may be thinking ‘$100.000+ for a BMW 3 series? that’s ridiculous. You could spend that and get an M3’ And you’re right, you could get an M3 for that but it wont have the feel of an Alpina.
The Alpina has some staggering figures 440hp 660nm 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds and top out at 306km/h. thats 56km/h more than BMW will let the M3 go.
Anyway, enough rambling on about this car. here are some photos I took of it. Enjoy!
